2024 SUMMER SESSION SCHEDULE

(Registration for the 2023-2024 dance year is now closed.)

Summer Camps: 

Tropical Princesses and Magical Mermaids Dance Camp (ages 4-7)
June 24 - 28

Dancers will have a splashing good time as they kick up the sand and bring magical adventures to life! Your island cuties will join Moana as they set out on a sunny adventure around the islands as well as a chance to dip their toes in the turquoise waters and splash around with Ariel and her underwater friends! Each day we will work on the basics of ballet and jazz, explore creative movement, do a daily arts and crafts project, and have outdoor fun! On the final day, family and friends are invited to an end-of-the-week performance held on Friday at 2:30. A $20 materials fee due on the first day of camp.

Ice Princess Dance Camp (ages 4-7)
July 8 - 12

Join us for a week of FROZEN adventures! Campers will dance and sing their way through an icy kingdom locked in perpetual winter as they join Ana, Elsa and the rest of the princesses for a week in a winter wonderland! Each day we will work on the basics of ballet and jazz, explore creative movement, do a daily arts and crafts project, and have outdoor fun! On the final day, family and friends are invited to an end-of-the-week performance held on Friday at 2:30.

Rainbows, Sparkles, and Unicorns (ages 4-7)
July 22 - 26

Let your dancer’s dreams and wishes come true! Dancers will climb the sparkly rainbow and soar through the Cotton Candy Clouds on their magical unicorns as they meet some of their favorite princesses along the way! Each day we will work on the basics of ballet and jazz, explore creative movement, do a daily arts and crafts project, and have outdoor fun! On the final day, family and friends are invited to an end-of-the-week performance held on Friday at 2:30.

Summer Dance Camp  (ages 8 - 18)
August 5 - 9

Join us for dance camp at Dance Expressions this summer! Each camp is designed to be full of high-energy fun that dancers, from beginning to advanced, won’t want to miss out on! Dancers will have the chance to work on their technique, flexibility, leaps, turns and so much more! Students will be grouped according to age and ability. Dancers will be exposed to the many styles of Jazz and each week will end with a performance for family and friends on Friday at 4:00.

Note:
All families will be required to pay a $30 non-refundable annual studio fee (per family) within the first two weeks.of starting class. This should be handed directly to the teacher at the start of your dancer's class. This is due from all families regardless of the dancer’s start time.

 

 

Dress Code

Please use the following dress guidelines for Dance Expressions classes. Students will be asked to sit out of class if not appropriately dressed:

  • No baggy clothing, jewelry or gum is allowed.
  • T-shirts, tank tops and leotards are acceptable, along with leggings, Spandex dance shorts, and dance pants.
  • No jeans or dresses are permitted for any class.
  • Always remember to wear deodorant.
  • Students should arrive in clean clothes and be properly dressed.
  • Pre-K – 2nd Grade can go barefoot in class, but they will need jazz shoes for the end-of-the-dance-year performance.
  • Everyone will need black jazz shoes. Sometimes tan jazz shoes are required as well, but we will let you know if that is the case.
  • Students should wear their hair tightly secured and styled away from the face – ponytails, braids, etc.
  • Students should bring a dance bag to class to store their dance shoes, hair clips, etc.
